  • POLICE officers who have been placed on new ranks since 2006 with no new salaries yet, would surely be paid once their new ranks are confirmed, Police authorities have assured.
    The assurance came on the heels of the Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Sir Mike Okiro's  announcement last Wednesday  of N129billion proposed  2008 budget earmarked for Police personnel cost.  The IGP had expressed optimism that the new Consolidated Police Salary Structure (CPSS), when implemented would boost the morale of officers and men of the Force.
